Meet the Founders:
Brittany Harrer, one of our co-founders, graduated from California State University and started her career working as a personal and executive assistant for notable individuals across the LA area. Her years of experience in the assistant role have helped her to better understand what her clients are constantly seeking. She uses this critical understanding to work with clients and candidates alike on a daily basis. Brittany’s dedication, work ethic and excellent interpersonal communication makes her her a trusted resource for everyone from Fortune 500 companies to the “Jonses” next door; they all rely on her for authentic staffing solutions. Brittany prides herself on developing great relationships, which has proven to be successful through the continued growth of The Pocketbook Agency.
Brittany says her spirit animal would be her maltese Bentley, and she takes her dark roast coffee with almond milk. When Brittany’s not in the office, you can find her at a pilates class, trying a new restaurant, or reading a good book.
Nicole Musselman-Dayan, Co-Founder of The Pocketbook Agency, her client-centered approach and thorough study of the staffing industry has allowed her to recruit and place extraordinary talent with a diverse list of incredible, established clients in Los Angeles and all over the US. Her approach is “only the best for the best,” and this is what she has created with her business partner Brittany. Nicole’s career began in 1999 as an assistant for Coldwell Banker in Virginia. Following that opportunity, she worked as an executive assistant for numerous companies in radio, TV, film, and music production. With this wealth of experience, Nicole truly knows what drives both candidate and client, ensuring a win-win result. Nicole holds a B.S. in Business from The University of Mary Washington and an A.A. in Theatre Arts from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In her spare time, you can find her boxing, working on her classic trucks, enjoying the outdoors, or sipping on some sweet tea with close friends and family. What is the best praise or advice you’ve received? The best advice I’ve ever received was “Know what you don’t know.”
